Beautifully written. I just finished reading the Sound of Paper. The author refers to your morning pages. Insightful, personal and grounding. Here's to a little sun to go with your watwring can my friend.

I'm working through Cameron's The Artist's Way (as a 12-week course) and have the Sound of Paper on my TBR list! The practice of morning pages has taken journal writing to another level for me. Thinking of it originally as only 'freewriting.' Doing this first thing every day, not only clears out the cobwebs but usually provides a clearer path forward. I highly recommend Artist's Way if you haven't already read that one!

The Sound of Paper was good in the beginning. It became quite repetitive after awhile but this book I think was quite cathartic for her. I find the fear of notbeinv good enough at writing, or a lot of things for that matter keeps me from journaling. Not an excuse, just the truth. Happy Tuesday.

That is also true for me- the fear. Steven Pressfield explains that as resistance. You might like his book, The War of Art. Also, Seth Godin, specifically his book The Practice. Tuesday is always better than a Monday!
